Context & challenge
The platform had grown feature by feature, and it showed: inconsistent visual patterns, a cluttered landing page, and unclear flows around search, filtering and listing creation.
Most people buy a car every few years, not every few weeks. The interface had to work for someone who has never seen it before, on a phone, in one sitting.
- Search and filtering flows creating cognitive overload and user drop-off
- A landing page that overwhelmed infrequent users
- Inconsistent UI patterns across viewports
- A listing creation flow with excessive errors and incomplete submissions
- Absence of a shared component system

Scope of work
The engagement included discovery research, stakeholder workshops, user behaviour analysis, journey mapping, wireframing, interactive prototyping in Figma, and development of a shared Figma component library.

Key focus areas
- Mobile-first design across every core flow
- A redesigned landing page built around intent, not inventory
- Enhanced search results navigation
- Focused product pages emphasising large imagery and clear calls-to-action

Outcome
- 01
Clearer navigation and search flows, reducing cognitive load and user drop-off
- 02
Improved listing creation with higher task completion rates
- 03
More dealer leads through streamlined search-to-contact pathways
- 04
Consistent interaction patterns across all viewports
- 05
Expedited development handoff via the component library
