For Handyhand.dk, a platform connecting people with local service providers for tasks like handyman work, cleaning, and gardening, I led a comprehensive redesign to elevate the overall visual experience and improve usability. The project began with in-depth market research and user journey mapping to understand both the competitive landscape and user needs. These insights informed a refreshed design approach, ensuring that every visual element was aligned with user expectations and business goals.
The redesign included:
•Color Scheme: A refined, cohesive color palette to create a friendly, approachable aesthetic that resonates with users.
•Graphics and Illustrations: New graphic elements and custom illustrations to enhance the platform’s visual storytelling and make navigation more intuitive.
•Responsive Design: Fully responsive layouts with tailored breakpoints for desktop, tablet, and mobile, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices.
In addition to the website, I provided a minor update to the Handyhand app, aligning it with the new visual language. The result is a modern, user-centered interface that supports Handyhand.dk’s mission of connecting users with local experts in a more engaging and efficient way.
